Tortellini with Garlic and Basil

store-bought or homemade tortellini

Six minced cloves of garlic

 handful of freshly chopped basil

 One-fourth of an onion, {minced}

 Four tablespoons of butter

 high-quality olive oil (approximately five tablespoons

 a pinch of salt

 a dash of pepper

 Adobo (optional, about 1/2 teaspoon, found in the spice section of the supermarket)

 Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

 

To prepare, bring a pot of water to a boil, adding a spoonful of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Cook tortellini for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Meanwhile, heat olive oil and butter in a small frying pan, sautéing chopped onions, garlic, and basil, seasoned with salt, pepper, and adobo. Combine the ingredients and top with Parmesan cheese, if desired, to savor a delightful culinary experience. Enjoy!
