Gazpacho Cordobes

1 Pound Sliced White Bread

1 Medium Green Pepper

1 Cup Cooking Oil

3 Large Ripe Tomatoes

3 Large Garlic Cloves

1/2 Cup White Vinegar

Salt And Pepper

Easy and simple recipe.

 

In a large bowl, let bread soak in cold water [enough to cover] for 5 to 10 minutes. Partially drain bread by pouring off excess water left in bowl . Cut tomatoes, green peppers and garlic. Measure cooking oil and vinegar. Blend all ingredients in electric blender. Pour into large bowl and add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve with the following garnishes in individual side dishes; chopped ripe tomatoes, chopped green peppers, chopped onions and  croutons [optional] . Enjoy!
