Spaghetti with Rapini (Spaghetti How-Do-You-Do)

1 package of No. 8 Spaghetti
1 pound (bunch) of Rapini
½ cup Olive Oil
5 garlic cloves – medium- to finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
8 fresh Basil leaves
6 oz. baby mushrooms

Cooking Instructions :

Boil water in pot. Cook spaghetti according to instructions on package.
Heat large skillet with olive oil. Add minced garlic, mushrooms and basil leaves. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Stir frequently until garlic is lightly browned. Remove from heat.
About five minutes prior to spaghetti being ready, add the Rapini to spaghetti. Move spaghetti and Rapini with tongs gently, until spaghetti is al dente.
Drain water from Spaghetti and Rapini into colander. Place in a bowl.
Pour the olive oil, garlic, mushroom, and basil mix from hot pan to Spaghetti and Rapini bowl and mix thoroughly.
Serve and add parmesan cheese, if desired. Enjoy!.
