Apricot Chicken

1- 1 Jar Of Apricot Preserves
2- Chicken Breast [ 4 to 6 pieces]
3- Garlic [ 2 cloves]
4- Basil [  5 or 6 leaves]
5- Salt [ a pinch]
6- Pepper [ a pinch]
7- 1 Onion Recipe Soup & Dip Mix Envelope [ I use Lipton]
Easy and simple recipe. Rub the chicken with garlic, basil, sprinkle salt and pepper . Let it rest in a bowl for at least 1/2 hour in the fridge . In another bowl add the apricot preserves and  the onion mix, stirring both ingredients. In a deep oven dish place the chicken and pour the apricot onion mix on top . Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place in 350 F degrees  oven . It should take between 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook , depends on your oven . This chicken dish goes well with white rice or vegetables. Enjoy!
