Apricot Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 Pieces Breast Chicken
  • 1 Jar Apricot Preserves
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • Pinch Salt
  • Pinch Pepper
  • 1 Envelope Onion Recipe Soup & Dip Mix, I use Lipton

Method

  • 1)

    Rub the chicken with garlic, basil, sprinkle salt and pepper . Let it rest in a bowl for at least 1/2 hour in the fridge . In a separate bowl add  the apricot preserves and  the onion mix,  stirring both ingredients together until fully blended.  In a deep oven dish place the chicken and pour the apricot onion mix on top. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place in 350 F degrees  oven. It should take between 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook , depends on your oven . This chicken dish goes well with white rice or vegetables. Enjoy!
