Tortellini With Garlic And Basil

Easy

20 Minutes

1-Tortellini [ store bought or make your own]

2- Garlic [ 6 cloves minced]

3- Basil [ a handful chopped]

4-Onion [ one quarter, minced]

5- Butter [ 4 tablespoons]

6- Olive Oil [ the best one you can get your hands on ] [  5 tablespoons]

7- Salt [ a pinch]

8- Pepper [ a pinch]

9- Adobo [  Latin aisle at the supermarket] [ optional] [ 1/2 tablespoon ]

10-Grated  Parmesan Cheese [ optional]

 

Instructions:

Boil water [ for the Tortellini ] add one spoon of olive oil and salt [ just a pinch ]. Add Tortellini and boil for 8 to 10 minutes until Al Dente. While the pasta is cooking, in small frying pan heat olive oil [ 5 tablespoons] and butter [4 tablespoons].  Add  chopped  onions, garlic and basil to heated  frying pan,  add salt, pepper, and adobo . Sautee the mixture gently for 5 to 6 minutes,  until mixture is soft, do not brown. Mix it all together, sprinkle with parmesan cheese [optional]. Enjoy.
