My mom use to make this recipe every Thanksgiving day , loved it . It reminds me of her . It is an easy recipe and very tasty.
In a large cooking pot melt the butter and then add the sweet potatoes . Add the remaining ingredients except the rum and the liquor . Cover the pot for 20 minutes then add the rum and liquor . Stirring occasionally over medium heat until sweet potatoes are tender and fully cooked . Enjoy!
