Spaghetti Squash with Italian Sausage

Ingredients
- 1 Spaghetti Squash
- 1 Package Italian Mild Sausage
- 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 8 Basil, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, the best one you can get your hands on
- 1 Teaspoon Adobo, spice section at the supermarket
- 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
- Pinch Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Brown Sugar, to cut the acidity from the tomato puree
- 1 Can Tomato Puree, I use the Italian brand
- 1/4 Onion, minced

Squash:
Cut the squash in half and remove seeds and pulp from center, brush the squash with olive oil all around it and sprinkle salt on each half . Place the squash upside down in a baking dish on a 350 F degrees oven . It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook. With a fork scrape all the pulp from the squash and it should come out in strands.Italian Sausage Marinara Sauce:
In a deep pan pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil , garlic , basil and onion . Stir until is soft [ make sure it does not burn ] then add the Italian sausage cut it in quarters and cook . Seasoned with pepper ,salt ,adobo . Once the sausage is browned add the tomato puree and the brown sugar. Let it cook for 30 to 45 minutes . Enjoy!
